A newsletter can keep current members up-to-date and provide the latest news within the practice.

We are a training practice and often have a GP registrar
working in the practice. He/she is a qualified doctor,
who is in training and gaining experience in general practice.
We have 3GP registrars:  Dr A Peddireddy, dr C Winterbottom and Dr L Duckworth

We provide 24 hour emergency cover. During the surgery opening hours this is provided by one of the practice doctors.
At night, weekends, and on Public holidays this is covered by Cuedoc, the emergency doctor service, (a co-operative
of local GP's) in which most of our doctors participate.
The duty doctor for Cuedoc may not be a member of this practice, but will allways be a fully qualified GP, belonging to another practice in the local area.

There is an out of hours centre, managed by Cuedoc, based at the West Cumberland Hospital. If you required to see a Gp out of hours, at weekends and on public holidays, you should arrange an appointment with Cuedoc. The centre is located near A&E, and you should use the A&E entrance.

We have still flu vaccines available, anybody over the age of 65 and at risk (heart disease, asthma, diabetes) can still have the vaccine. Please arrange an appointment with one of our practice nurses if you would like a flu injection.
